ICONA Resorts is actively seeking a seasonal Yacht Captain at Cape May County, NJ. The Yacht Captain is responsible for the total operation of the yacht including navigation, safety of the guests, crew, yacht and environment.
Essential Functions

Safe navigation and operation of the yacht
Required USCG 100 GT license
Full working knowledge of ISM and ASPS
Setting up budgets and budget management
Hiring, leading, appraisal and dismissal of crew
Overseeing the upkeep of the vessel
Managing yacht refits and surveys
Being an ambassador for the yacht, hosting and entertaining guests as required
All guests must be treated in a manner to ensure their complete satisfaction. Always strive to exceed guests’ expectations.

This position is responsible for any crew members on the yacht.
Work Environment
This position operates on a yacht. This role requires good physical resilience and ability to work at a high pace while standing throughout the day.
Physical Demands
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping and crouching. The position may require lifting of products weighing up to 50 pounds. This position requires team members to work outside and on the water in all inclement/extreme conditions.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. This role requires forty, plus hours to include, nights weekends and holidays.
Travel
No travel is expected for this position.
Required Education and Experience
3-5 years’ experience as a Mate.
USCG 100 GT license.
A proven record of navigation.
