Bosun - 100m+ Private Motor Yacht - France (The Crew Network)

Permanent position

Leave: 60 Days per year

Flights: 2 Return Flights per year

Salary: €4250 with annual salary review & bonus scheme

Cabin: Shared – Male candidates only

Great leadership – will be managing a team of 8 – 13 deckhands

Mentoring – will need to coach and mentor the junior deckhands on deck maintenance procedures & techniques

Positive outlook and willing to go above and beyond to achieve a common goal

Planning & organizing – planning work schedules, worklists and assigning tasks to suitably qualified crew

Previous experience as bosun on yachts of 80m+, or min 2 years’ experience as lead deckhand on larger yachts with recommendations for promotion

Tender driving – Single prop, dual prop and jet tenders. No Joystick controls, all manual

Mooring operations – Leading a team in mooring and anchoring operations

Painting & Varnishing – Experience with Awlgrip paint products

Spraying and touch-up work

ENG-1 Medical or equivalent

STCW 2010 Updated

Proficiency in Designated Security Duties

RYA PWC Instructor

Large Yacht Heli Deck Assistant

Safe Working Aloft & Working Outboard Training Course

Fully Vaccinated for COVID-19 (Moderna, Pfizer, J&J, Astra-Zeneca or Sinopharm)
